If my life were a patchwork quilt these are the pieces that make it whole...

My beautiful sister with her husband Rajesh. The picture was taken on the occasion of 'oonjal' at their wedding. Rajesh is a very warm genuine person who has pretty quickly become a big part of our family. Welcome Rajesh!
My cousin-in-law Uma, her husband Bhakta and their doll of a daughter Shreeya. Uma came to 'see' me with Kannan before we got engaged. I was thrilled Kanna had such nice cousins who made me feel welcome. I still am.
Meet Suresh. Cousin of my cousin Deepa. He lived near Coimbatore for a while when I went to college there. We have had some fun times eating ice cream and practicing palmistry ;) Thanks for the fun times Suresh!
My father-in-law with us. His white shirt and teeth to match are his trademarks. He can talk to just about anyone on just about anything. Having started out as a sales person must have its advantages right? ;)
My very own niece Sruthi. She is truly a bundle of joy. The closest I can get to feeling like a parent.

Neighbours at William Henry, close friends over time. Dedicated parents and the most religious family I have ever known. Aravind, Usha and Kumar.
Aps... Have shared more than pre wedding anxieties and happiness with her... Fond memories of Commercial Street shopping and countless eat outs... Really miss you at times...
Gulgul and Meeti. My best friend's children. Gulgul is one child I can honestly say I knew from the time she was born. Seeing them makes me want to have one of mine :)
This is Harini, her husband Balajee and son Siddharth (fondly called Siddu at home). Harini is my Perima ponnu. She is renowned for her quick grasp of things and is quite the queen of cooking! Formerly part of Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai she is out to conquer Seattle now.
Meet Sowmya, girlfriend during the adolescent years. Every one of us has that one person we would walk down to school with, talk about guys and secretly compete with... for me it was her.. Endless prayers at the ganesh temple to score at least one mark more than her.. looks like God listened to her prayers and not mine... :)
Krithika married Udayaprakash who is also my best friend from college. Suffice to say they both are people I will treasure for life.
Best friend from college days. We share a lot more than secrets :) Spent many a lazy weekend at her house sharing her room and her grandparents. Krithika with her daughter Shreya.
Chirpy, wise beyond her age and absolute MBA material. Swetha is yet another of my gazillion cousins :)
Krithika aka kutty at home. My sis... my friend... I love her a lot!
Lavanya, friend and cousin.. A person beautiful inside and out. I owe you much for those memorable RT Nagar sleepovers...
Akila.. Akki to me and people that know her well. A free spirit. A true Gemini. I think this picture captures the essence of her.
Lakshmi and Harish.. neighbours in NJ. Knew Lakshmi as part of our group in Wipro Bangalore. Became friends after she moved to Harrisburg and later NJ.
My athai Gomathy. I have enormous respect for all she has achieved in life. Like Paati and thatha we grew up around her...
Here is my chinna chithappa and chithi carrying Hrishi. Sankar Chithappa spoilt us rotten by getting us bags of chocolate everytime he visited us. No points for guessing our favorite chithappa of course :) Chithi is an AMAZING cook :)
This is my trichy chithappa and family. Squatting are Chithi, Deepa, Chithappa and standing are Ramji carrying Hrishikesh and Ajit. We spent many fun vacations growing up.
Krish, Geeths and Sujal. Had some really fun and heartwarming times in Chennai Wipro when the office first opened. Memories that will be cherished always.
Arun and Vanitha.. We share more than a common love for Tamil... we love debates and the lively conversation they bring to any get-together...
Meet Manoj, Usha Lakshmi and Meera. We share a psychic connection or so we like to believe. Plenty of bizzare coincidences only cement our belief :)
Sajid and me had some wonderful times at Digital. Of all my friends he was the first to meet Kannan. :)
Kavitha, Swarna and Dhana.. thats what you get when you mix work with fun.. new friends from Covansys.
Archana and Anand. Arch is a dear friend and we share memories of many arratai sessions and such from Chennai Wipro...
Vanitha and Prem. A delightful couple. Vanz goes back to my chennai Wipro days.. and many many train trips for the MS classes.
Remah.. my newest friend at work.
Radhika and her daughter Sandhya. Part of my Wipro group. She made a very striking first impression on me :)
The group I work with currently...
My foster parents... they took care of me like their daughter when I stayed with them. I will always always remember them. Love you mama mami.
Occasion: Karva Chauth.. Stars: Parul and Sanjay.. Neighbours at our apartment complex a couple of years ago..
The gang here in Malvern as is now.. mostly.. As always a few have left to India and a few moved to other jobs.. It is/was a fun gang..
My paati... Grew up with her and around her.. She is the underlying thread that touches all our lives..
Yaazhmozhi.. exotic as her name. Both Kanna and me love the way she speaks.
The NJ gang.. fondly called the Bajji boyz by my father in law.. Anti-clockwise they are Partha, Sivakumar, Sreekanth and Kanna. Endless fun and stimulating conversations are the hallmarks of their visit usually.
Usha Lakshmi, Nalini, Archana, Vanitha, Anila and me.. A all night girls only scrabble party.. Another memory that will last a long long while..
Simply put... love of my life and my soulmate. Kannan. When I felt lost and lonely the day after my wedding in my in-laws place.. It was Shalu to the rescue.. From then on she has been my favorite-est cousin in law..
Manchus.. We spent some time in Wipro Bangalore swapping Trichy stories.. Later when she moved to KOP PA is when we got to know each other again.. The world is small...
Meet Madhu with her husband Kumar. We met in Seventh grade and she was the first person I could call my friend and mean it. Sreekanth, Sujatha, me and Kannan... We go to NJ to meet them often. Kanna and Sreekanth are college mates.. Suja and me are friends just like that :)
Young and happy.. Just before my wedding in 2001. Ranjith and me...
Same occasion... Preethi and me..
Another of occasions when you feel this group will never get together again in the same form.. Occasion was my bday. In the motley mix are us cousins and Vidhya's athai ponnu Lakshmi with her mom, my dad's cousin Jayanthi with her family.. It sure was fun.. Thats a memory to treasure..
This was the first party kanna and me threw as a couple. Its amazing to see how young everyone was then. :) Bharathi, Neeraja, PD, Kamal, Harsha, Mamtha, Kanna and ananthasayanam la Malli.
Shiva and his wife Sangeetha. Shiva, Akki and me have spent countless hours in our initial days at Bangalore oor suthing and chatting non stop. Those really were the days!
The movie Autograph by Cheran made me cry.. these are the people who are responsible.. PS, Nagu, Kala, Nikki, Devi..
Happiness Unlimited...
Friendship got a new meaning with this gang :) And this is how I learnt spoken Hindi...
Aparna with her son Aakash.. Irrepressible is how I think of her...
My brother Badri and his wife Anila. Coolest brother anyone can have and Anila is fun to hang out with..
My parents. Geetha and Giridharan. Oh! Did I tell you they were my best friends as well? :)
Neeraja and Medha, my first real friends in Malvern. You are part of some of the most cherished memories in my life.
Remember the night studies before exams Vijay? My fav cousin :) Wonder how I would have survived PNC without you Karen? ;)
